For the Grading, Classifying and Equalizing of unpacked food products
LIEBEL graders of the USS-4, USS-6, USS-8 and USS-12 type are made for
applications with high throughput especially within the area of meat and
fish production. The assembly of fixed weight batches, consisting of products
with different individual weights, as well as a weight specific classification
into different weight categories, can be carried out – if necessary
simultaneously on the same machine.
Our industrial standards guarantee excellent precision together with unsurpassed
reliability. Stainless steel finishings with disguised weighing-units provide
solutions for both, dry and wet production areas (IP 66 protection). Polished
stainless steel surfaces, cantilever transport-belts and a high ground clearance
permit excellent cleaning properties. Aside from that LIEBEL graders are
known for their minimum space requirements.
LIEBEL graders are equipped with an independent weighing unit based on the
LWS 1500 checkweigher series and the UNISORT sorting-software. The operating
unit affords easy handling. Despite of the uncomplicated intuitive menu,
the user has multiple operating and statistical options (see Data Sheets).
A large variety of technical options allow each USS machine to be adapted
to specific needs. This includes bag filling devices, roller containers,
automatic delivery to bag-filling machines or tild conveyer systems for
most gentle “no-touch” sorting – just to mention a few.
It is also possible to use USS graders within the non-food industry (see
our non-food demonstration of a sorting machine for metal hangers).
Attention: Graders (Sorting systems of the USS type - Universal Sorting
Systems) are generally used for both, sorting as well as equalizing of unpacked
products. Equalizing machines of the UES type (Universal Equalizing Systems)
are generally used for packed products in combination with a price labelling
machine.
